Frequently Asked Questions

Everything You Need to Know

Taking your pet to a new place is never an easy decision, and I’m sure you have a lot of questions about how it works. I’ve compiled some of the most common questions into the list below. If you want further information, just get in touch.

How can I schedule an appointment at the pet care?

We offer on-call appointments only. We prefer to retract walk-in appointments to provide the utmost care for each patient and family. We are available Monday through Saturday 12pm - 6pm.

My pet needs emergency help outside the pet care hours. Will it be feasible to provide an appointment?

Unfortunately, our staff will not be available outside the regular hours. We encourage you to give a call and based on the situation, necessary advice will be provided and/or a visit will be  scheduled. We will see to it that you needs are taken care of.

Do you have experience with rare or exotic pets like birds?

My experience covers medical, gynecological, surgical and behavioral cases of mainly companion animals including a few exotic species (turtle, iguana, hamsters, rabbit) cattle, birds and monkeys.

How many days ahead should I call in order to get an appointment?

We encourage you to call one or two days before. We provide appointments for the next available slot usually on the next day but in some cases, the same day appointments can be available too.

When should I vaccinate my puppy?

Vaccinations start as early as the 28th day and go on till the 4th month.

When should I deworm my puppy?

If the mother is dewormed, its ideal to deworm your puppy on the 21st day and there-after every month till the first year. From the first year onwards, we deworm every three years.
